Field Service Operational Procedure – (Using Zuper for Technicians)

Before leaving

  1. Open Zuper and check the job → in the Details tab, check all job details

  2. If needed, write a note in Notes (e.g., useful info before leaving)

When you leave

  1. In the job → Update Job Status → set to “Travel to customer”

  2. If available, use navigation from the map (you can select it when updating the status to “Travel to customer”)

When you start working at the customer site

  1. Update the job status → “Started”

During the job

  1. Notes, if you need to add short texts: what you found / what you are doing / photos-videos of the site/equipment
  2. If you need to update the back office:
    -use Notes and tag with @Name

    -use “chat” in the “Details” tab to speak directly with the internal person responsible for the job

If the job lasts multiple days:

  • at the end of the day set to “On Hold”

  • the next day, resume and set back to “Started”

Closing the job

  1. Update Job Status → “Completed”

  2. If required: generate/send the PDF report to the customer

Travel Back & closing

  1. Update the job status → “Travel back”
  2. Once at home/IPI, update to "Closed"
